*~*~ Sizing Charts ~*~*

Not all dress designers use the same measurement ranges when sizing their dresses. Please check all measurements carefully prior to ordering.

                            How to Measure

The Bust Measurement is taken around the fullest part of the chest. Make sure you keep the tape straight.

The Waist Measurement is taken at the natural waistline; this is the area between the belly button and the bottom of the rib cage. Bend to one side to find your natural waistline, then standing straight ensure the tape fits comfortably around your waist.

The Hip Measurement is taken around the fullest part of the buttocks.

The Girth/Torso Measurement is taken from the center of the shoulder, down the fullest part of the chest, through the crotch and then up the back to the starting point. You should make a complete loop around the torso. Make sure you keep the tape tight and not twisted.  Stance should be straight up but shoulders relaxed, feet shoulder distance apart, toes straight ahead.

Note: It is VERY important for you to take these measurements wearing a form fitting garment. DO NOT pull the tape too tight or add inches onto measurements as this will not be accurate!  DO NOT do measurements on yourself, get someone else to measure you.   When measuring girth if longer than 60" and your tape measure runs out DO NOT guess the additional inches. Get a tape longer than 60" or tape another one to the end of your existing tape.   GIRTH (torso circumference) is the MOST IMPORTANT measurement of the four, if this is not correct , the dress will not fit.

Note:  If your measurements are close to the maximum range in more than one measurement, I suggest you select the next larger size. If in doubt, send me your measurements and I will check against the dress your are interested in to ensure the fit will be good. Save yourself from disappointment and postage!

The dress brand "Flying Camel" has the tendency to run a size smaller than the tag size so please check the measurements carefully in each dress description.

Mondor brand also tends to run small. Please check the apparel chart below for their  suggested size ranges.
