  • 1. Can I give you my credit card information over the phone?

No. I have my credit card processing via PayPal. You also have the option of paying with an e-mail money transfer, COD, money order, personal cheque. Please see the "Policies" page for more information

    2. Are "Custom Order Dresses" available to ship right away?

No! A custom order dress is a dress that is made to your own measurements and not one that is  ordered in a standard size and kept on hand ready to ship right away

    3. Does the cost of a custom dress include the decorations?

Yes. The total cost is $135 USD for skating dress, dance dresses $145 USD and custom baton suits are $130 USD. Outfit is as shown with the beading, sequins, airbrushing, silk flowers, etc. If modified there is an additional charge of $25

    4. What do I need to do to order a custom fit outfit?

Please fill out the "Custom Order Form" with the required information. If you are unsure as to how to measure, please see the "Sizing Charts". I will review the submitted form and then invoice you once I make sure the measurements look appropriate.

    5. Can you add on Swarkoski crystals to a custom dress?

No. My design team hand sews on all the decorations. You have the option of adding on glue-on or hotfix crystals afterwards yourself.

    6. Can I order a custom dress/baton suit plain with no decorations?

Yes, just put that in your Custom Order Form under additional comments. There is a discount price for plain outfits.

    7. How long does a custom order take until received?

It depends upon how busy we are at the time. Usually a custom fit is finished and mailed out within 4 weeks. Right now due to the volume of orders, we are more like 6 weeks production time. Please let me know on the Custom Order Form if there is a deadline so that I can let you know if possible to meet.

    8. An item is marked as "Sold" or "Not Available" can I still order it?

No! The item may be a one-of-a-kind and has been bought by another client. All dresses available to order for a custom fit are located in my Custom Dresses

    9. Does the instock dresses come in another size?

The instock dress comes in whatever size it is listed at. If other sizes are available, the dress will be located in the " Multiple Sizes"

    10. What is the cost of shipping? How long will it take for the package to arrive?

All charges are listed on the "Policies Page". I charge actual costs with no handling fee. The type of postal service with shipping time is all listed there also.

    11. How do I track a package?

I will email you the tracking number if mailed in Canada or confirmation code if mailed in the US. Please go to the appropriate postal site:  www.canadapost.ca or www.usps.com

eg. If mailed in the US and package is coming to Canada, please check the USPS site first and then onto the Canada Post site and vise versa

    12. Can I give you my order over the phone?

No. I demand a hard copy of the order so that there is no confusion regarding item ordered, size or mailing address. I get much too busy trying to answer the calls so I have since taken the number offline and deal directly via e-mail. On this issue., thank-you for understanding.

    13. Can I buy the pattern for your outfits?

No. The images are also copyrighted and I do not authorize anyone to reproduce my outfits. I have had issues in the past with other companies reproducing my designs and then passing the cheap, poor quality item off as associated with my company. I pride myself with producing a well made design from a wonderful, talented team. If you see my designs elsewhere I would appreciate an email notifying me of same.

    14. I keep calling the phone number but get no answer, why?

The volume of calls has become too much to handle so messages will go directly to a voicemail. It is very time consuming to try and answer calls directly so please send an email regarding any questions or comments.

    15. All measurements except the girth match mine, will the dress still fit?

Absolutely not! The most important measurement to get fit first is the girth, then chest, hips and last is waist

    16. Where are you located?

Witless Bay, Newfoundland, Canada. This is an online business which does not offer a drop-in service. Please contact me if via email if you would like to arrange a visit and I will do my best to accomodate. I also operate several other businesses so time is very limited.

    17. Where do I enter the payment information for a custom order? I press the submit button but get no order confirmation, why?

I always review the measurements to insure everything looks okay and possible discuss with my team if there are modifications.  I will then send along an invoice via PayPal within 24 hrs. If you do not receive an invoice within that time period, email me to check on order status. Please insure you click on the "SUBMIT FORM"

18.Can you expand on the difference in a competition fit, comfort fit and growing room fit?
Competition fit means the dress is made smaller than the actual measurements to fit "like a second skin" so tight to body, no room for expansion, dress stretches to fit the body snugly everywhere. It is the type of fit skaters will usually choose who are involved in higher level skating or who are finished growing.

Comfort fit: little room for growth because dress is made to exact measurements and material will stretch a bit with growth of the child. I recommend this fit for growing skaters to insure you can get good use from the garment before outgrowing.

Growing room: dress is made a little larger, usually 1/2-1 inch everywhere so there is more room to grow with both the measurements and the material stretch.
